GLAPIGNY, GLAPIGNY BONCOURT, GLAPIGNY PONCET
Glapigny, like Glapigny Poncet and Glapigny Boncourt, is part of the territory producing “Bourgognes Grand Ordinaire”, named today “Côteaux Bourguignons”, below the village of Vosne-Romanée. The rich alluvial soil of the plain does not have the material to give a real expression of the “terroir”. The vines are tended and the wine vinified in a way as to express the character of the grape itself.
From 2011 to 2020 different kind of chardonnay where whole bunch fermented (macération), making a very special wine as "Vin de France" both with minerality and liveliness. Since 2021, the more classic wine-making "à la Bourguignonne" give this fresh and tasty wine the appellation "Côteaux Bourguignons".
