– It’s very simple, yet very complex…

It's very simple yet very complex. There's a multitude of details... I'm not sure how many pixels your camera has... it's as if there were billions... and every single detail had some importance. What does balanced soil mean? It means trying... to maintain... things such that, for the production, and growing of grapes... occur under correct conditions. These terroirs have for good reason, been cultivated for centuries. This has not been a random choice. There's no need to add potassium etc. or adding chemical products for bigger harvests... It'd be a false gain anyway. Yes, there's more fruit but at the expense of colour, you lose aroma, quality... Often, some agro-chemicals used... can be highly aggressive. These can kill the natural yeasts. They in turn... need to be replaced with synthetic yeasts. But it makes the wine less digestible. Perhaps add some sugar, adjust the acidity, Then it's true then... the wine isn't made only from grapes. It's just a beverage with grapes in it as well. Here we follow... a more natural approach, to make wine using grapes and only grapes.
